Join us for our traditional fall hayride and campfire at Highland Orchards on November 14th! The wagon will depart promptly at 6 pm. Around the campfire, we will enjoy s’mores and a few skits and songs performed by our scouts. Please arrive early to buy Highland Orchards’ famous apple cider and apple cider donuts.
Register early. Space is limited to 15 families (~30 people) to ensure social distance between families on the wagon. Please only sign up registered scouts and one parent/guardian per family unit. This is one of our most popular events and we expect it to sell out quickly. Registration is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. We look forward to seeing you there!
The pack will provide individual packets of s’mores ingredients (graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate) to each scout. If you would rather bring your own ingredients, please do so.
Don’t forget to purchase Highland Orchards’ famous apple cider and apple cider donuts to enjoy around the campfire too!
As outlined in the Pack 110 COVID-19 Risk Reduction Plan on the pack website, the health and safety of scouts and their families are our priority. All participants must wear a mask during the hayride and around the campfire.
Pack 110 is very excited for our first camping overnight of the scouting year at French Creek State Park! Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. French Creek has more than 30 miles of trails for hiking and biking and 2 lakes for fishing and boating. It is beautiful!
We are limiting the number of spots for this trip to 15 families (~30 people total). Please only sign up registered scouts of Pack 110 and one parent/guardian per family unit. Register early so we have an accurate count of who will be there. Hope you can join us!
