SUMMARY:It's Popcorn Time!
DESCRIPTION:Popcorn is our only fundraiser for our Scouting year!  It also supports the whole Scouting organization with 73% of the sales are profits back to scouting! \nPopcorn Sale Resources \nWe encourage each boy to do their best to try to sell at least 10 different people… but more sales will bring incentives & prizes. \n\nA percentage of the pack’s profits raised by the scout will go into that  Scout’s “Scout Account”.  Balances in Scout Accounts can be use to offset individual expenses (trip expenses\, Blue & Gold tickets\, etc.)\nAdditional prizes may be earned by scouts based on how much popcorn they sell (see below order form for details).\nAll Scouts that sell $250 or more of popcorn get to throw a pie in the face of on of their leaders!\nTop three (3) sellers get an extra pie to throw a pie in the face of on of their leaders!\nParticipate in two (2) or more Show-N-Sells OR $500 or more in door-to-door sales and win a trip to Treehouse World\nParticipation reward: If you made your goal (of at least $25 or sell popcorn to at least 3 people)\, set up your online account or participate in a Show-N-Sell\, you get to participate in an Ice-Cream Party!\n\nAll popcorn order forms must be turned in by October 19th.\nPack Show-N-Sells\nOur Pack Show-N-Sells scheduled at Acme\, Wawa\, Brothers Pizza & ACE Hardware this year.  Show-N-Sells are a great way for Scouts to build comradery and learn about teamwork and is also a great way for any Scouts that do not feel comfortable with “door-to-door sales” to participate in the popcorn fundraiser.  When a Scout participates in a Show-N-Sell\, a portion of the profits earned during his shift will be counted towards his total sales for the year.  The Show-N-Sells are as follows: \n9/8/2018 Show-n-Sell at WaWa\nTIME: Saturday\, September 8th\, 10AM – 2PM\nWHERE:WaWa\, 1010 West Chester Pike\, West Chester\, PA \n9/15/2018 Show-n-Sell at Brothers\nTIME: Saturday\, September 15th\, 4AM – 8PM\nWHERE: Brothers Pizza\, 658 Downingtown Pike\, West Chester\, PA \n9/22/2018 Show-n-Sell at Acme\nTIME: Saturday\, September 22th\, 10:00AM – 4:00PM\nWHERE: West Goshen Acme\, 907 Paoli Pike\, West Chester\, PA \n9/28/2018 Show-n-Sell at Brothers\nTIME: Friday\, September 28th\, 4AM – 8PM\nWHERE: Brothers Pizza\, 658 Downingtown Pike\, West Chester\, PA \n10/6/2018 Show-n-Sell at Acme\nTIME: Saturday\, October 6th\, 10:00AM – 4:00PM\nWHERE: West Goshen Acme\, 907 Paoli Pike\, West Chester\, PA \n10/7/2018 Show-n-Sell at Acme\nTIME: Sunday\, October 7th\, 10:00AM – 4:00PM\nWHERE: West Goshen Acme\, 907 Paoli Pike\, West Chester\, PA \n10/13/2017 Show-n-Sell at Ace Hardware\nTIME: Sunday\, October 13th\, 10:00AM – 2:00PM\nWHERE: Ace Hardware 720 West Strasburg Road\, West Chester\, PA \nPlease notice that some of this year’s Show-N-Sells take place before the opening pack meeting so they may be a great place for the boys to catch up before the big kick-off. \nWant to get a headstart on your popcorn sales?\nWe will be distibutiong hard copies of the popcorn order form to all scouts at the opening pack meeting in September\, but if you want to get started earlier please feel free the check out the Trails End website below for online sales details. \nSell Popcorn Online!\nDo you have friends/relatives that would live to suppot scouting by buying popcorn\, but they live too far for personal delivery? DESCRIPTION:All current and hopeful Cub Scouts and their parents are invited to attend! \nThis year the annual Chester County Council Cub Camporee (C5) will again be held at the centrally located Paradise Farm Camps in East Bradford. All current and hopeful Cub Scouts and their parents are invited to attend! C5 will include games\, activities\, outdoor learning\, team-building\, crafts\, and camping sleepover. \nCheckin and tent setup is from 11- 1 p.m. on Saturday\, October 13th (please eat lunch before arrival) and activities will take place from 1-6 p.m. Dinner will be served Saturday\, followed by campfire ceremony and a campout. SUMMARY:Halloween Parade
DESCRIPTION:Come out in your scariest\, silliest\, or most creative Halloween costume and join us while we walk in the West Chester Halloween Parade. Even though we may not be wearing our Cub Scout uniforms\, we are still representing the Cub Scouts and must act accordingly. Any Scouts seen misbehaving will be asked to leave the parade. \nWe will meet on Market Street between Darlington and New Streets. \nAll participating scouts must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\nPlease note for public safety\, groups and floats will not be allowed to toss or handout candy during the parade.

SUMMARY:Great Pumpkin Carve
DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand! Please join us of Friday\, October 26th\, at 7:00 for the Pack 110 Great Pumpkin Carve! \nAfter the opening ceremonies the Scouts and their families will be given 30 minutes to carve and decorate your pumpkin.  Once all of the pumpkins are decorated\, we will display them to give the Scouts a chance to see the creations that their friends made.  Pretzels and water will be for sale for all scouts and parents. \nNecessary Supplies for this meeting\nPlease Remember to bring a hollowed out pumpkin ready to decorate and the necessary tools for your carving / decorating. \nWe strongly reccomend picking up a couple of Pumpkin Carving Kits similar to the one pictured below. These actually work very nicely and they are much safer than kitchen knives.  They can be purchased for a couple of dollars at most stores that carry Halloween supplies.  The tools do break relatively easy though\, so you may want to consider multiple kits.
