SUMMARY:Gold Rush! Cub Scout Overnight Camp
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Pack 110 will be attending Camp Ware’s “Gold Rusk!” Cub Scout Overnight Camp from July 26th to July 29th. \nSummer camp is an exciting opportunity for Cub Scouts to have a lot of fun while accomplishing many requirements to help them along the advancement trail. Our overnight resident camp offers programs that draw from the Cub Scout advancement requirements in your son’s book wrapped up in a cool theme. \nGiven the option to arrive a day early\, your Webelos get the camp to themselves. Program provides them with a little extra something regarding moving on to Boy Scouts but don’t fear they’ll get equally as much attending for only four days. This is pretty cool in that the Webelos can then help the younger Scouts acclimate. \n\n\nPatents Guide\nProgram Guide\nHealth Form\nSpecial Needs Request\nCampership Application\n\n\nYour Scout will have an amazing adventure swimming\, shooting\, exploring nature\, building things\, crafting\, playing games and making new friends. The Cub Scout summer camp experience runs Thursday through Sunday for all ranks (Tiger\, Bear\, Wolf\, Webelos and Arrow of Light). \nProgram Areas Include:\nSTEM pavilion\, Nature Lodge\, Campcraft\, Homestead – Fallen Cedars\, Camp Ware Art Academy\, COPE for Cubs\, Aquatics\, First Aid and Shooting & Field Sports (BB guns\, archery\, biking\, sports). \nParent Campers Needed!\nIn order to have a successful week at camp\, we are required to have adequate parent attendees to supervise the scouts. ONE ADULT LEADER/PARENT CAN ATTEND FREE WITH THEIR SCOUT! SUMMARY:Webelos ACE Overnight Camp
DESCRIPTION:While the main activities this week are geared towards Webelos Scouts\, there will be traditional programs available for younger Scouts as well. \nWebelos and Arrow of Light Scouts attending August 7–11 will participate in a specialty program called ACE. ACE is an alternative program to the traditional summer camp program. There are three main components to the ACE program: Adventures\, Connections\, and Experiences. The goal of the Webelos ACE Program is to focus on the Experiences of the Scout rather than the requirements. Additionally\, emphasis is placed on the Connections between Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting. \n\n\nACE program it has been tailored for Arrow of Light scouts. The Arrow of Light ACE program focuses on helping Scouts move from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. The goal is to help Arrow of Light Scouts understand the function and structure of Boys Scouts but the method is to provide Arrow of Lights with an experience that is only for them. They will have the opportunity to act as a Boy Scout while they learn to live the Scout Oath and Law.
