Scouts will learn about and use forensic science to gather information and solve mysteries – just like real Crime Scene Investigators! \nThis week-long day camp provides children with a positive and fun experience that builds character\, forges new friendships\, and provides a sense of belonging that will last beyond the summer. \nSessions are led by experienced and nationally trained staff\, and partners with local community organizations to bring additional program opportunities to your child. \nREGISTER HERE\n\nOnly $250 if registered by 4/15/2023\nIf registering after 4/15\, fee is $325.00 for the week.\nRegistration Closes:  07-24-2023\nDiscounts are available for when a parent/guardian volunteers for some or all of the week. \n\nPlease note that completion of a medical form is required for registration (see registration link).\nFor more information on registration please contact Day Camp Director Kerri Lea Advena at daycamp@cccbsa.org or 610.696.2900. \n  \nWe hope to see you there! \n

DESCRIPTION:This is an event that is sponsored by the Chester County Council and will include units from all over Chester County \nWith limited event attendance\, we ask that you please only bring the minimum amount of adults needed for your group. \nCouncil will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning if you stay over. This is still a bring your own tent/gear event. \nCouncil is planning to have the shooting sports ranges opened and lots of other stations/activities. New this year we are hoping to have a black light pinewood derby (for fun\, not competition) so bring your own wooden car! You can buy the precut bodies at the craft store\, or buy a kit from the council store and cut it yourself before you come to camp! During the day\, one station will be for decorating them and in the evening we will run the cars! Don’t fear if you’ve never made a pinewood derby car\, this is your chance to get a try before you make the real one for your pack and district races later in the year! \nWhen registering\, be sure to specify “Trapper” as your desired campsite.

DESCRIPTION:Blast Into Adventure!\nThe whole family is invited to a fun-filled outdoor adventure. After an afternoon of activities\, dinner and a campfire\, families are invited to campout. Bring your own tent to sleep under the stars then stay for breakfast the next morning as well as more activities. Scouts can also bring a friend that is not registered in Cub Scouts\, increasing the fun! \nActivities include shooting BB guns\, archery\, bouldering wall\, paintball slingshot range\, arts and crafts\, sports\, games\, leatherworking and much\, much more. The whole family will experience the exhilaration of these activities. \nThis overnight experience meets the overnight camping requirement of all ranks. \nArrive around 11 a.m. Saturday morning to set up your campsite. Lunch is not provided on Saturday so please eat prior to coming or bring something with you.
