SUMMARY:St. Paul's MLK Day of Service
DESCRIPTION:We will be teaming up with Boy Scout Troop 93 again this year for a day of Community Service.  We will begin by meeting at St. Paul’s Baptist Church between 7:30 and 7:45 and then proceed to locations around West Chester for service opportunities (will need a few parents for transportation) and then return to St. Paul’s.   We are normally done by noonish and St. Paul’s Baptist Church provides lunch for anyone that participates so please plan on picking up your scout (if you are not attending with them) around 1:00.  The Cubs had a great time working with the Boy Scouts last year.  Please let me know if you and your Scout would like to participate by Thursday\, January 18th – we will need to know the name of the Scout and parent and parent’s cell phone number. \nIn past years\, the boys have participated in food donation sorting\, meal bag preparation\, Day Care story time\, supermarket food collection\, etc.  Each volunteer is asked to bring a non-perishable food item with them for the MLK Food Drive. \nPlease RSVP as soon as possible.
