SUMMARY:Spring Family Camping at KOA
DESCRIPTION:Pack 110 has been anxiously waiting for winter to break and to get back outdoors. We are very excited for our first camping trip of 2022 at KOA in West Chester. The KOA is a fun\, close\, and easy overnight trip which makes it a great trip for any first-time campers. We have tent sites right on the bank of the Brandywine Creek!  All members of the family are welcome.\n  \n\n  \nItinerary:\nArrival: 5/13~ after 3 pm or 5/14\n(If severe weather is threatening\, a go/no-go email will be sent to the Pack on 5/13 by 10am) \nFriday Night: Set up camp\, short campfire \nSaturday: Set up camp\, explore the site\, go for a hike and play games\, have dinner\, and enjoy a campfire \nSunday: Breakfast and camp breakdown \nDeparture: 5/16 ~ between 9am – 10am \n\nCost:\nCost : $15 per person / night for 1 night\, $25 per person / night for 2 nights \nPayment Methods: PayPal\, cash\, checks made payable to Pack 110 \n\nEquipment:\nCamping challenges scouts to “Be Prepared”. Here’s a quick list of essentials: \n\nTent\nSleeping bags and pillow\nFlashlight\nWarm clothes and your mask (dress in layers!)\nFilled reusable water bottle\nRecommended:\n\nsleeping pad or air mattress\nsmall personal coolers for your tent are also nice in the event you need a drink in the middle of the night\nfishing poles\, a ball or a frisbee are also ideas\n\n\n\nDon’t Have a Tent? – The pack can lend you a tent and\, if needed\, help you set it up. Only 1 pack tent is available – arrangements must be made in advance with Clif Beam \nKOA also has a number of small cabins available for rent for an additional fee (arrangements can be made directly with KOA http://koa.com/campgrounds/philadelphia). \n\nFood: TBD\n  \nQuestions:\nPlease email Mark Ross with any questions.
